Doctors can read ECG reports on BlackBerry
The revolution of mobile technology has reached at some point that now doctors can go through the ECG reports directly on their BlackBerry mobiles without killing much time.
BlackBerry running under the network of Vodafone, has introduced an ECG application known as ‘Telemedicine’ which helps doctors to read the ECG reports of different patients on their BlackBerry device.
The application was created long before by BlackBerry-maker Research-In-Motion, but now it was introduced being tied up with medical equipment manufacturer Maestros Mediline Systems (Maestros).
The new technology has already been adopted by the city-based Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, where the cardiologists have got the facility to access their patient's ECG reports on their BlackBerry set. Soon after, the BlackBerry-Vodafone Telemedicine services will be available in all major hospitals in India.
